After completing her BA in history at the University of Ottawa, Daniele studied Civil Law at the University of Montreal and graduated from the National Law Program at the University of Ottawa, Cum Laude. She was called to the British Columbia bar in 1998. Transitioning from her employment as a flight attendant, Daniele articled with a personal injury firm in downtown Vancouver. Daniele then worked as a federal crown counsel and conducted some family law matters. She joined Somers and Company in 2005, where she handled child protection work. Daniele is now a Managing Partner at Somers Poulin Hall. Her practice is shared between personal injury litigation and child protection law. Daniele has had conduct of matters and/or appeared before the Provincial Court, the Supreme Court, the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada.

More About Daniele

From 2014 to 2016 Daniele served as a non-elected member on the Equity and Diversity Advisory Committee of the Law Society. Daniele currently serves as a non-elected member on the Complainants Review Committee of the Law Society of BC. Daniele is also a member of the Judicial Advisor Committee of the Canadian Bar Association, BC Branch. She has been a member of the Awards and Recognition Committee of the Canadian Bar Association since 2015. Daniele is a past member of the Automobile Insurance Committee of the Canadian Bar Association, BC Branch. Daniele has served on the executive committee of the New Westminster Bar Association since 2016. She has been the President of the New Westminster Bar Association since November of 2018. Finally, Ms. Poulin has been on the Board of Directors of a number of non-profit organizations, including Trotin Trottinette and North Shore Female Ice Hockey Association. She has coached and still currently plays hockey. She enjoys golfing, hiking, reading and the theatre.
